16. April 2025 – Das Buch von Martin Warnke „Hofk\u00fcnstler“<\/strong>, erschienen im DuMont Verlag 1985<\/strong>, ist vergriffen und erscheint neu im Verlag Wagenbach Berlin 2025<\/strong>. Ausgang des Themas ist die Habilitationsschrift \u201eOrganisation der Hofkunst\u201c von 1970. Das Portraitfoto von Martin Warnke ist von Thies Ibold 2007 im Warburg-Haus fotografiert und f\u00fcr den neuen Einband vorgesehen. II<\/em> Martin Warnke’s book „Hofk\u00fcnstler,“<\/strong> published in 1985 by DuMont Verlag<\/strong>, is out of print and will be republished by Verlag Wagenbach Berlin<\/strong> in 2025. The topic is based on his habilitation thesis „Organisation der Hofkunst“ (Organization of Court Art) from 1970. The portrait of Martin Warnke was taken by Thies Ibold in 2007 at the Warburg Haus and is intended for the new cover.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karen Kipphoff, <\/a>Marvin Altner<\/a>, Iris Wenderholm, <\/a>Karen Michels<\/a>, Jes\u00fas Mu\u00f1oz Morcillo, Horst Bredekamp, Evelyn Finger, Petra Oelschl\u00e4gel, <\/a>Monika Grzymala<\/a>, Achatz von M\u00fcller + <\/a>Yasuhiro Sakamoto<\/a>. Ein denkw\u00fcrdiger Tag f\u00fcr mich als Fotograf des Symposiums. Hier im Warburg-Haus sprachen Petra Kipphoff und ich zum ersten Mal miteinander. When the book was finished, it received her attention and recognition. We share a birthday, January 5th.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bill Sherman<\/a> (The Warburg Institute) sorgte f\u00fcr eine \u00dcberraschung:<\/strong> aus dem Fundus von Aby Warburgs Nachfahren gelangte vor einigen Tagen dieser Teppich mit Blitz-Symbolik von Aby Warburgs Reise in den S\u00fcdwesten der USA, zum The Warburg Institute London. Bill \u00fcbergab offiziell den Teppich dem Markk Hammburg, wo es weiter untersucht und k\u00fcnftig ausgestellt wird. \/\/ Bill Sherman <\/a>(The Warburg Institute) caused a surprise: a few days ago, this carpet with lightning<\/strong> symbolism from Aby Warburg’s journey to the Southwest of the USA, from the fund of Aby Warburg’s descendants, reached The Warburg Institute London. Bill officially presented the rug to the Markk Hamburg, where it will be further examined and exhibited in the future.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diese \u00dcberraschung ist eine Sensation: <\/strong>vermutlich zum 1. Mal gelangt dauerhaft nach 1933 mit dem Transfer der Kulturhistorischen Bibliothek Warburg von Hamburg nach London, nun 90 Jahre sp\u00e4ter ein bedeutendes St\u00fcck 2023 von London nach Hamburg. F\u00fcr Martin Warnke, der sich zu Lebzeiten stets einen offeneren „Austausch“ zwischen den Institutionen in Hamburg und London gew\u00fcnscht hat, vermutlich ein ganz besonders sch\u00f6ner Tag. \/\/ This surprise is a sensation:<\/strong> probably for the first time after 1933, with the transfer of the Warburg Cultural History Library from Hamburg to London, 90 years later, an important piece will arrive from London to Hamburg in 2023. For Martin Warnke, who during his lifetime always wished for a more open „exchange“ between the institutions in Hamburg and London, it was probably a particularly nice day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
